As we all know, robotic magnetic navigation (RMN) has established itself as a robust, accurate and reliable technology for the guidance of electrophysiology ablations. Hence, numerous operators use this advanced widely-adopted technology for performing various types of electrophysiology procedures.
To facilitate exchange and dissemination of practical knowledge on clinical RMN applications, Society For Cardiac Robotic Navigation (SCRN), both European and American branches, will publish special supplements to the Europace journal titled "Update on Clinical Applications for Robotic Magnetic Navigation for Cardiac Arrhythmias".
The supplements will comprise of selected peer-reviewed clinical reports on best practices for robotic magnetic navigation with contemporary data to be made available to the cardiac electrophysiologists, allied professionals and healthcare administrators. It will be indexed on PubMed, printed and circulated for Europace subscription holders, and will have free-to-view on-line access once published.
We are inviting you to submit abstracts highlighting the original manuscripts you would like to be considered for publication in the supplements. The SCRN will prioritize and select approximately 8 manuscripts to be published in the Europace special supplement in April or May 2018. All other manuscripts fitting SCRN’s value and quality criteria will be considered for publishing in additional Europace supplements later.
The deadline for abstract submission is 22 September 2017. The deadline for acceptance notification is 01 October 2017. The deadline for full-length manuscript submission is 15 October 2017.
Below, you will find some additional info in the Q’s & A’s format. To submit your abstracts, please, use the “Submit” menu option above or click H E R E .
We hope you have interest in contributing to the supplement.
